BRANDYS NAD LABEM, Czech Republic (Interstat) — Reka Dombai scored 30 points to lead Atomeromu to an 81-69 season-opening Eurocup Women victory over Brandys nad Labem on Thursday. Atomeromu used a 13-2 run in the third quarter to pull away. Alena Hanusova led the hosts with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Atomeromu forced 17 turnovers and was perfect from the free-throw line, making all 17 attempts. The teams will meet again at this venue on Sept. 25.
