CAGLIARI, Italy (Interstat) — Costanza Miccoli recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds to propel Trieste to a 70-61 victory over Cagliari in a women’s professional basketball game Saturday.

Zala Srot scored a game-high 19 points for Trieste, which improved to 7-11. Milagros Maza added 12 points and six assists.

Giorgia Bovenzi led Cagliari with 17 points. The home team also fell to 7-11 on the season. Both teams shot poorly from the floor, but Trieste managed key stops down the stretch to secure the road win. The result split the season series after Cagliari’s win in December.
