SALAMANCA, Spain (Interstat) — Araski delivered a major upset Wednesday, defeating Avenida 72-68 in a Spain LF women’s basketball game at Salamanca. Dominique Toussaint led the visitors with 18 points. Regan Magarity posted an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double for Avenida in the loss.

Araski, now 9-18, swept the season series after a one-point win in October. Avenida, which fell to 26-13, was projected as a heavy favorite. The visitors secured the win despite key performances from Avenida’s Iyana Martin, who had 14 points and seven assists, and Khadijiah Cave, who added three blocks.
