SEU D’URGELL, Spain (Interstat) — Regina Aguilar scored 19 points and dished seven assists to propel Cadi La Seu to a 71-61 victory over Ensino in a Spain LF women’s basketball game Wednesday.

Aguilar, a 5-foot-7 point guard, controlled the game for the hosts, who improved to 10-17. Ainhoa Gervasini added 15 points and 11 rebounds for Cadi La Seu, which avenged a December loss to Ensino.

Lydia Giomi, a 6-5 forward from Seattle, grabbed 11 rebounds for Ensino, while Jessica Fequiere scored a team-high 14 points. Ensino, which fell to 14-13, struggled offensively throughout the contest.

The result defied statistical projections that favored Ensino. Cadi La Seu used a balanced attack, with Seehia Ridard scoring 13 points and Laia Raventos adding nine points and five assists.
