VILNIUS (Interstat) — Klaipedos Neptunas (1-0) will visit Kibirkstis Vilnius (3-0) on Wednesday in a women’s professional basketball game. Kibirkstis Vilnius has opened the season with three wins. Klaipedos Neptunas has won its only game by 20 points.

Kibirkstis Vilnius is coming off a 90-71 home win against Siauliai in its most recent game. Zoe Wadoux had 13 points, three rebounds and four assists in 19 minutes. Niyah Becker scored 19 points and added four rebounds and one block in 20 minutes. Nausia Woolfolk finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes. Kibirkstis Vilnius also has wins against Poznan, 91-69 at home, and at Sopron, 81-62.

Wadoux is a player to watch for Kibirkstis Vilnius. She had 27 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 33 minutes at Sopron. Against Poznan, she scored 21 points and collected four rebounds, one assist and one block in 32 minutes. In the Siauliai win, she added three rebounds and four assists. Wadoux’s 27-point performance at Sopron was her highest scoring total in the recent stretch.

Klaipedos Neptunas enters after a 104-84 home win against LCC in its most recent game. Anastasia Warren produced 21 points, three rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. Taylor O Brien added 24 points, three rebounds and six assists in 25 minutes. Migle Kisarauskaite contributed nine points, four rebounds, five assists and one block in 21 minutes.

Warren is a player to watch for Klaipedos Neptunas. In the win over LCC, she scored 21 points and had four assists. O Brien and Kisarauskaite also were among the team’s most productive players in that game. Warren’s 21-point effort came in 31 minutes, with three rebounds. She was one of three Klaipedos Neptunas players to score in double figures.

Kibirkstis Vilnius had three double-digit scorers in its most recent win. Wadoux, Becker and Woolfolk all reached double figures against Siauliai. Becker had 19 points and four rebounds in 20 minutes. Woolfolk added 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes.

Klaipedos Neptunas is scheduled to host Liepajas Papirs/LSSS, visit Alytaus Dzukija, host Aistes LSU Kaunas, visit Siauliai and TTT Riga, host TTT Riga Juniores, visit Rokiskis and host RSU Merks. Kibirkstis Vilnius is set to visit TTT Riga, host Athinaikos, host TTT Riga Juniores, visit Landes, visit Liepajas Papirs/LSSS, visit Zaragoza, host Rokiskis, visit Athinaikos, host RSU Merks and visit Alytaus Dzukija. Both teams will continue their schedules after Wednesday’s matchup.
