ZAGREB (Interstat) — Zagreb defeated visiting Rijeka 80-59 on Saturday in a women’s professional basketball game. Marta Ostojic led Zagreb with 22 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 28 minutes. Blaza Ceh added 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists, and Enya Maguire had 12 points, three rebounds and six assists. Lea Hajdin contributed nine points, three rebounds and four assists, while Dora Cipcic had four points, five rebounds, three assists and one block. Andrea Stankovic scored six points. Marijana Zukanovic paced Rijeka with 13 points and four rebounds. Anja Konjevic had six points, 11 rebounds and five assists, Nerea Brajac added eight points and seven rebounds, and Mia Glomazic finished with seven points, seven rebounds and five assists. Zagreb shot 29 of 64 from the floor, 10 of 25 from three-point range and 12 of 13 from the free throw line. Rijeka shot 23 of 64, 6 of 18 and 7 of 12. Zagreb had 13 assists, eight offensive rebounds and four blocks, while committing 13 turnovers. Rijeka had three assists, 17 offensive rebounds and 21 turnovers.
