ZAGREB, Croatia (Interstat) — Medvescak defeated Split 59-54 in a women’s professional basketball game Tuesday between teams seeking their second win of the season. Both clubs now hold identical 1-17 records. Iva Medic led Medvescak with 17 points and eight rebounds. Lara Pavela scored a game-high 20 points for Split in the loss. The contest was a rematch of a Nov. 22 meeting, which Split won 45-44. Medvescak, which had a 79.6% win probability according to Interstat’s ELO system, next hosts Zadar on Saturday.
