MARDEN, Australia (Interstat) — Norwood defeated Sturt 85-74 on Saturday in NBL One women’s basketball. Ally Becki recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Tayla Brazel led Sturt with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Maddy Hinton also scored 20 for Norwood. Paige Padroth added 19 points and nine rebounds for Sturt. Amy Cotton had 16 points, five rebounds and two blocks for Norwood, and Cali Clark contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds. Caitlin Shillabeer scored 14 points for Norwood, and Lara Gribben added six. Zoe Walker Roberts had five points and six rebounds for Sturt, and Nicola Mathews scored 10. Norwood improved to 8-5 while Sturt dropped to 10-3. The game was played at Marden.
