CROWS NEST, Australia (Interstat) — Jazmin Shelley scored 36 points and added six rebounds and six assists to lead the Northern Suburbs to a 76-72 victory over Maitland on Saturday in Australia NBL One women’s action.

Shelley, a 5-foot-8 guard, also contributed one block in 35 minutes. Talya Brugler added 12 points and six rebounds, while Peggy Schell had four points, four rebounds and four assists.

Kasey Neubert paced Maitland (4-8) with 19 points and 21 rebounds. Shakera Reilly added 20 points and nine rebounds, and Jess Finney contributed eight points and five rebounds.

Northern Suburbs improved to 13-0, maintaining its perfect season. Maitland shot 44 percent from the floor and 33 percent from 3-point range, while Northern Suburbs shot 42 percent from the field and 35 percent from beyond the arc.

The game was played at Crows Nest. Maitland entered on a two-game losing streak, while Northern Suburbs extended its winning streak to 13 games.
