WILLETTON, Australia (Interstat) — Delanie Crawford tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead Lakeside to an 81-74 victory over Willetton on Friday in Australia NBL One women’s basketball. Esmeralda Morales scored 31 points and Samantha Roscoe added 13 points and nine rebounds for Lakeside, which improved to 6-7. Emma Calvert scored a game-high 33 points with eight rebounds and two assists for Willetton. Nija Collier grabbed 24 rebounds to go with eight points, three assists and one block. Ruby Porter added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Remy Hearn scored eight points and dished nine assists for Willetton, which dropped to 3-9. Emma Gandini contributed seven points, seven rebounds and three assists. Samantha Lubcke had four assists and three rebounds for Lakeside, and Molly Wilson added two points and four rebounds. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Lakeside. Willetton has lost five consecutive games. The teams will meet again June 26 at Lakeside.
