PROVO, Utah (Interstat) — The BYU women’s basketball team controlled play from the start and defeated Missouri 93-75 on Monday night at Marriott Center.

The Cougars built a commanding 28-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. BYU led 48-27 at halftime and maintained at least a 15-point advantage throughout the second half before an announced crowd of 2,415. The Tigers mounted a late push with 27 points in the fourth quarter, but the early deficit proved insurmountable.

With the win, BYU improved its season record to 25-11. Missouri fell to 17-17.
