SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — Cheyenne Rowe scored 27 points to lead Texas-San Antonio to a 66-64 victory over North Texas in an American Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Wednesday afternoon at Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners (10-9) built a 46-28 lead through three quarters, powered by a 21-point second period. The Mean Green (11-9) mounted a furious fourth-quarter rally, outscoring UTSA 36-20 behind 20 points from Mekhia Chase, but fell just short. Chase finished with 20 points for North Texas. UTSA dominated inside, scoring 36 points in the paint. Attendance was 639.
