BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Interstat) — Ella O’Donnell scored 18 points and Karson Martin added 19 to lead Quinnipiac to a 72-58 victory over Fairfield in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night at Webster Bank Arena.

The Bobcats used a decisive 24-point third quarter to pull away from the Stags. Both teams are now 17-4 overall. Cyanne Coe led Fairfield with 14 points.

Quinnipiac never trailed after the first quarter, building a 33-26 halftime lead before its third-quarter surge secured the win in front of 1,491 fans. The teams will meet again on Feb. 14 at Quinnipiac.
