Penn at Delaware State

LEIPSIC, Del. (Interstat) — The Penn Quakers, coming off a dominant season-opening victory, will face the Delaware State Hornets in a nonconference women’s basketball game Monday at Memorial Hall.

Penn (1-0) opened its season with a 105-31 rout of King’s (Pa.) on Friday. The Quakers’ offense was firing, led by Katie Collins’ 18 points and a 16-point, 4-assist effort from Tina Njike.

Delaware State (1-1) looks to bounce back after a narrow 66-63 road loss to American on Saturday. The Hornets opened their season with a 66-55 home win over Felician on Nov. 5.

The matchup pits Penn’s high-scoring attack against a Delaware State team seeking its first home win of the young season. The Quakers will continue a busy stretch with a game at Drexel on Wednesday. The Hornets’ next game is at home against Long Island on Saturday.
