LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — Gabriela Jaquez scored 29 points to lead UCLA to a 99-77 victory over Tennessee in a women’s basketball game Sunday at Pauley Pavilion. The Bruins never trailed, building a double-digit lead after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout. Kiki Rice added 20 points and 11 rebounds for UCLA. Janiah Barker scored 25 points for the Lady Volunteers in the losing effort. The Bruins improved to 8-1 overall, while Tennessee fell to 5-2. An announced crowd of 5,639 watched the contest.
