POCATELLO, Idaho (Interstat) — The South Dakota Coyotes remained undefeated Sunday, escaping Holt Arena with a 64-63 victory over the Idaho State Bengals in a non-conference women’s basketball game. South Dakota improved to 5-0, while Idaho State suffered its first loss, falling to 3-1. The Coyotes used a strong second-half surge, outscoring the Bengals 42-43 after halftime to secure the narrow win. Idaho State, which had a 30-20 advantage in points in the paint, had a chance to win in the final seconds but fell just short.
