AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Interstat) — Wright State dominated Oakland 62-44 in a Horizon League women’s basketball game Saturday at the Athletics Center O’rena.

The Raiders seized control with a 24-point third quarter, turning a 27-17 halftime lead into a decisive advantage. Breezie Williams led all scorers with 24 points and added seven rebounds for Wright State. Oakland’s Karinna Trotter grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.

Wright State forced 21 points off turnovers, compared to six for the Golden Grizzlies, and held a 24-18 edge in points in the paint. The Raiders improved to 9-18 overall, while Oakland fell to 8-17. Wright State swept the season series, having also won 61-57 on Dec. 3.
