DETROIT (Interstat) — Wright State used a decisive third quarter to defeat Detroit 78-61 in a Horizon League women’s basketball game Thursday night at Calihan Hall.

The Raiders led 41-34 at halftime before outscoring the Titans 20-11 in the third period to secure the road victory. Jasmine Edwards led all scorers with 22 points for Detroit. Claire Henson paced a balanced Wright State attack with 18 points.

Wright State improved to 8-18 overall. Detroit fell to 5-19. An announced crowd of 300 attended the game.
