SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (Interstat) — The Rhode Island Rams defeated the Davidson Wildcats 60-53 in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball game Wednesday night at Ryan Center.

Rhode Island used an 18-point second quarter to build a 30-25 halftime lead and maintained control despite Davidson’s 16-point third quarter. The Rams sealed the victory with another 18-point period in the fourth. Attendance was 1,123.

The win improves No. 17-2 Rhode Island’s record, while Davidson falls to 13-7. The Rams were projected with a 65.8% win probability by Interstat’s ELO system.
