NEW YORK (Interstat) — The Saint Louis Billikens defeated the Fordham Rams 67 to 57 in overtime Wednesday afternoon in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball game at Rose Hill Gym.

Saint Louis, which trailed by six points entering the fourth quarter, forced the extra period by outscoring Fordham 15 to 11 in the final quarter of regulation. The Billikens then dominated overtime, holding the Rams to just two points while scoring 12 to secure the road victory. A crowd of 1,800 watched as Saint Louis improved to 11-10 overall. Fordham fell to 9-10. The Rams had been favored to win by the Interstat ELO system.
