Northern Kentucky at Butler
INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — Two teams seeking their first winning streak of the young season will meet Sunday when the Butler Bulldogs host the Northern Kentucky Norse in a non-conference women’s basketball game at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Butler (1-2) enters the contest looking to rebound from a 68-59 home loss to Central Michigan on Wednesday. In that game, Lily Zeinstra led the Bulldogs with 16 points, while Saniya Jackson added 12 points and four rebounds. Butler’s lone victory was a 74-53 win over Wright State to open the season on Nov. 3.
Northern Kentucky (0-3) is still searching for its first win after a 95-64 road loss to Ball State on Wednesday. The Norse have struggled offensively in their first three games, failing to score more than 64 points. Guard Mya Meredith has been a bright spot, pouring in 18 points in the loss to Ball State.
The matchup presents an opportunity for both squads to build momentum before a challenging stretch of their schedules. Following this game, Butler faces a tough in-state road test at Indiana, while Northern Kentucky returns home to host Toledo.
Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse.
