FAIRBORN, Ohio (Interstat) — Northern Kentucky used a dominant second half to roll past Wright State 82-56 in a Horizon League women’s basketball game Saturday at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.

The Norse, who led 32-33 at halftime, broke the game open by outscoring the Raiders 26-12 in the third quarter. Northern Kentucky’s defense fueled the victory, generating 18 points off turnovers and holding a 38-16 advantage in points in the paint.

With the win, Northern Kentucky improved to 10-11 overall. Wright State fell to 6-14. An announced crowd of 1,101 watched the contest.
