SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — Texas-San Antonio held off a late Tulane rally for a 65-63 women’s basketball victory Tuesday afternoon at the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners led by seven entering the fourth quarter, but the Green Wave closed the gap to two in the final minute. Texas-San Antonio secured the win by making key free throws, finishing 10 of 12 from the line. Tulane was just 5 of 8 on free throws.

Ereauna Hardaway led Texas-San Antonio with 16 points and seven assists. Cheyenne Rowe added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Mecailin Marshall scored 11 points for Tulane.

Texas-San Antonio improved to 6-6. Tulane fell to 5-8.
