Quinnipiac Dominates Saint Peter’s in MAAC Women’s Basketball Rout

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (Interstat) — Quinnipiac delivered a commanding defensive performance in a 67-27 victory over Saint Peter’s in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women’s basketball Monday at Yanitelli Center.

The Bobcats (8-4, 3-0 MAAC) held the Peacocks to a season-low scoring output, building a substantial lead by halftime and never relenting. Ella O’Donnell led a balanced Quinnipiac attack with 12 points and seven rebounds. Karson Martin added 10 points.

Jayshlynn Vega scored 10 points for Saint Peter’s (3-9, 2-1), which saw its two-game conference win streak snapped. The Peacocks struggled offensively throughout, shooting well below their season averages.

Quinnipiac has won three straight conference games. Saint Peter’s looks to rebound in its next MAAC contest.
