Florida A&M at South Alabama
MOBILE, Ala. (Interstat) — The South Alabama women’s basketball team, riding a wave of early-season success, will host a struggling Florida A&M squad on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at the Mitchell Center.
The Jaguars (5-1) have won five of their first six games and are coming off a 66-54 home victory over Kennesaw State on Tuesday. Daniela Gonzalez led the way with 14 points and three assists, while Chrysta Narcisse added 11 points and four assists. South Alabama’s lone loss was a 76-68 defeat to Memphis.
Conversely, the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers (0-6) are still searching for their first win. They are entering the contest on the heels of a 75-59 loss at Mercer on Tuesday. In that game, Shaniyah McCarthy scored a team-high 20 points and Tahnyjia Purifoy added 14 points. Breazia Robinson contributed eight points and seven blocks. The Lady Rattlers have faced a challenging non-conference schedule, with their losses coming by an average of 30 points.
The game presents a stark contrast in momentum. South Alabama will look to continue its strong start before a two-game road trip, while Florida A&M aims to break into the win column before returning home to face Jacksonville on Tuesday.
