Boston College at Massachusetts

HADLEY, Mass. (Interstat) — The undefeated Massachusetts Minutewomen will look to extend their hot start when they host the Boston College Eagles in a nonconference women’s basketball game Saturday at the Mullins Center.

Massachusetts (4-0) is coming off an 85-45 rout of UMass-Lowell on Tuesday, where Ayanna Franks scored 20 points. The Minutewomen’s defense has been a hallmark of their early success, holding opponents to an average of 55.5 points per game.

They will face a Boston College team (3-3) seeking to rebound from a tough 72-65 overtime loss to Harvard on Wednesday. Despite the defeat, guard Lily Carmody poured in 22 points for the Eagles, and Amirah Anderson added 18. The Eagles have shown offensive firepower in wins but have struggled to close out tight games, with two of their three losses coming by three points or fewer.

The matchup features a contrast in momentum, with the Minutewomen aiming to protect their perfect record and the Eagles looking to get back to .500 before a two-game holiday tournament in Florida next week.

Tipoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.
