KENT, Ohio (Interstat) — The Kent State Golden Flashes will look to build on their first win of the season when they host the winless Niagara Purple Eagles in a non-conference women’s basketball game Sunday.

The Golden Flashes (1-2) are coming off a 79-55 home victory over Walsh on Monday. Mya Babbitt led the way with 23 points, while Corynne Hauser added 21. Their two losses came on the road against West Virginia and James Madison by significant margins.

The game will be played at the Memorial Athletics Center. Kent State will hit the road again to face Ohio State on Wednesday, while Niagara continues a difficult stretch at Virginia Tech on Nov. 20.
