HADLEY, Mass. (Interstat) — Patricia Anumgba scored 22 points to lead Toledo past Massachusetts 60-52 in a women’s basketball game Wednesday night at Mullins Center.

The Rockets built a 26-19 halftime lead and maintained control despite a 20-point performance from Massachusetts’ Megan Olbrys. The Minutemen closed to within six points in the fourth quarter but could not complete the comeback.

Anumgba, a guard from Silver Spring, Maryland, added one assist in 32 minutes for Toledo, which improved to 14-10. Olbrys led Massachusetts, now 18-6, with 20 points and one assist. Allie Palmieri added 12 points for the Minutemen.

Attendance was 945.
