NEWTON, Mass. (Interstat) — Zoe Brooks scored 27 points to lead North Carolina State to a 106-84 victory over Boston College in Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball Thursday night at Silvio O. Conte Forum.

The Wolfpack seized control with a 57-point first half, building a nine-point lead by halftime and extending it steadily after the break. Brooks added seven assists in 33 minutes. Khamil Pierre contributed 19 points and Tilda Trygger added 23 for North Carolina State, which improved to 15-6.

Jocelyne Grier led Boston College with 23 points. Erin Houpt scored 18 for the Eagles, who fell to 4-19 before an announced crowd of 623. North Carolina State shot efficiently throughout, posting 30-point quarters in the second and fourth to secure the road win.
