HAMILTON, N.Y. (Interstat) — Bella McLaughlin scored 22 points, including nine in overtime, to lift Boston University to a 77-70 women’s basketball victory over Colgate on Wednesday night at Cotterell Court.

The Terriers (9-17, 5-10 Patriot League) squandered a 15-point halftime lead as the Raiders (6-19, 3-12) stormed back to force overtime. Colgate’s Ella Meabon scored a game-high 25 points.

Boston University dominated inside with 38 points in the paint and held Colgate to five points in the extra period to secure the season sweep. Inés Monteagudo added 11 points and six assists for the Terriers. Madison Schiller had 16 points and six assists for Colgate.
