WILMINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — Rori Cox scored a game-high 33 points to lead UNC Wilmington to a 69-64 women’s basketball victory over North Carolina A&T on Friday night at Trask Coliseum.

The Seahawks (6-17) erased an early deficit, outscoring the Aggies 20-8 in the third quarter to seize control. North Carolina A&T (9-14) rallied late, closing to within one point in the final minute, but UNC Wilmington sealed the win at the free-throw line.

Cox added five assists for the Seahawks. Chaniya Clark led the Aggies with 17 points and four blocks. Paris Locke added 14 points for North Carolina A&T. Attendance was 771.
