Chattanooga at Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Interstat) — A surging Chattanooga women’s basketball team looks to extend its dominance in Southern Conference play when it visits a struggling Wofford squad on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

The Lady Mocs (16-5, 8-0 SoCon) bring an eight-game winning streak into Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium, having most recently dispatched Furman 62-54 on the road Thursday. Their last loss came on Dec. 28. Chattanooga’s defense has been stifling during the run, holding six of those eight opponents under 60 points.

Wofford (11-11, 4-4) seeks to steady itself after back-to-back narrow losses, including a 61-57 home defeat to East Tennessee State on Thursday. The Terriers have shown resilience but have struggled for consistency in conference play.

The matchup features two of the league’s top scorers. Chattanooga is powered by guard Gianna Corbitt, who is coming off a career-high 30-point performance at Furman. Over her last eight games, she is averaging 14.6 points and 5.6 rebounds, providing versatile offense for the league leaders.

Wofford will counter with guard Gabby Mundy, who has been a bright spot despite the team’s recent results. Mundy has scored in double figures in 12 consecutive games, averaging 19.9 points over her last seven contests. She poured in 28 points in a road win at Mercer on Jan. 24.

Chattanooga won the season’s first meeting decisively, 61-42, at home on Jan. 8. In that game, the Lady Mocs’ defense held Wofford to 27.6% shooting from the field.

The Lady Mocs currently sit atop the SoCon standings, while the Terriers are tied for fifth. A win for Chattanooga would solidify its position, while Wofford aims to use its home court to climb back toward the top half of the conference and avenge its earlier loss.

Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. EST Saturday in Spartanburg.
