WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — Kaitlyn Flanagan scored 17 points as Holy Cross rallied to defeat Colgate 60-50 in overtime in a Patriot League women’s basketball game Wednesday night at Hart Recreation Center.

The Crusaders, who improved to 12-8, dominated the extra period 15-5 after the Raiders forced overtime by erasing a late fourth-quarter deficit. Ella Meabon led all scorers with 24 points for Colgate, which fell to 5-14.

Holy Cross secured the win at the free-throw line, making 19 of 27 attempts, while Colgate managed only 3 of 7. The Crusaders also forced 17 turnovers, converting them into 24 points.
