BOSTON (Interstat) — Boston University held off a late push to defeat Colgate 58-54 in a Patriot League women’s basketball game Saturday at Agganis Arena.

The Terriers, who led by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter, sealed the win at the free-throw line in the final minute. Colgate’s Ella Meabon hit a 3-pointer with one second left to pull the Raiders within two, but Boston University’s Bella McLaughlin made two free throws to secure the victory.

Anete Adler and Anastasiia Semenova each scored 16 points for Boston University. Rose Azmoudeh added 14. Grace Klag led Colgate with 14 points, while Meabon scored 13.

Boston University improved to 7-12. Colgate fell to 5-13.
