BOSTON (Interstat) — D’Mya Tucker scored 21 points and Paris Locke added 14 points and eight assists as North Carolina A&T outlasted Northeastern 84-83 in double overtime in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Friday night at Matthews Arena.

The Aggies, who trailed by 11 after the first quarter, rallied to force overtime. Both teams scored nine points in the first extra period. North Carolina A&T held Northeastern to just two points in the second overtime, securing the road victory. Locke’s layup with 10 seconds remaining in the second overtime provided the final margin.

Taylor Holohan led all scorers with 22 points for the Huskies. Camryn Collins added 18 points and Yirsy Quéliz scored 19 for Northeastern.

North Carolina A&T improved to 6-8. Northeastern fell to 4-9. An announced crowd of 210 attended the game.
