AUSTIN, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas women’s basketball team remained undefeated Sunday, using a massive second-quarter run to defeat Penn 81-63 at the Frank Erwin Center. The Longhorns outscored the Quakers 30-12 in the period to turn a close game into a comfortable lead. Mataya Gayle led all scorers with 24 points for Penn. Madison Booker posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Texas, which improved to 8-0. Penn fell to 5-3.
