Queens (N.C.) at UNC Wilmington
WILMINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — The UNC Wilmington women’s basketball team looks to build on its most complete performance of the young season when it hosts Queens (N.C.) on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at Trask Coliseum.
The Seahawks (2-3) are coming off a 75-55 victory over Presbyterian on Nov. 21, where Kylah Silver posted a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Torin Rogers added 18 points and six rebounds, while Rori Cox contributed 19 points and five rebounds.
The Royals (3-3) enter after a tough 121-49 road loss to powerhouse South Carolina on Nov. 23. Brenae Jones-Grant was a bright spot in that contest, scoring 10 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Queens had won two of its three games prior to the South Carolina matchup, including a 76-65 win at South Carolina State.
Both teams have experienced similar early-season struggles, making this a contest for momentum heading into December. UNC Wilmington has yet to win at home this season (0-2), while Queens is seeking its first true road victory after going 1-3 in its first four games away from Charlotte.
The game tips off at 2 p.m. EST Sunday. It is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
