(Interstat) — Northern Kentucky outscored Southern Indiana by six points in overtime to secure a 77-71 victory in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Regents Hall. The Norse, led by Taysha Rushton’s 20 points, overcame a 41-minute, 21-point performance from Southern Indiana’s Chloe Gannon. The Screaming Eagles built an early lead but were outscored 11-5 in the extra period. With the win, Northern Kentucky improved to 3-6, while Southern Indiana fell to 4-2.
