LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Interstat) — Amber Scalia scored 26 points to lead Miami (Ohio) to a 77-58 victory over Bellarmine in a women’s nonconference basketball game Sunday at Knights Hall. The Redhawks (4-1) never trailed, building a 35-23 halftime lead and pulling away in the second half. Ilse de Vries added 17 points and six assists for Miami. Triniti Ralston led the Knights (1-3) with 21 points. Miami dominated inside, outscoring Bellarmine 28-20 in the paint and capitalizing on turnovers. An announced crowd of 360 watched the game.
