Green Bay at Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (Interstat) — The undefeated Green Bay Phoenix (4-0) will face an in-state test against the Wisconsin Badgers (3-1) in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at the Kohl Center.

Green Bay enters the contest with momentum, coming off a 76-64 victory over New Hampshire on Thursday. The Phoenix offense was led by a balanced attack, with Carley Duffney scoring 13 points, Ellie Buzzelle adding 11 and Kamy Peppler contributing 10 points and six assists. Green Bay’s defense has been a hallmark of its early success, holding three of its first four opponents under 50 points.

Wisconsin arrives with a potent offense, having defeated Bowling Green 90-78 in its last outing. The Badgers were led by Kyrah Daniels’ 21 points and five rebounds. Ronnie Porter added 11 points and five assists, while Gift Uchenna posted 12 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Wisconsin’s only loss this season was a 65-62 overtime defeat on the road against Marquette.

The game represents a key non-conference matchup for both programs before they dive into their respective conference schedules later in the season.
