Texas A&M at Kansas State
MANHATTAN, Kan. (Interstat) — The undefeated Texas A&M Aggies will face their first road test of the season when they visit the Kansas State Wildcats at Bramlage Coliseum on Sunday.
Texas A&M (2-0) is coming off a 79-64 home victory over Tarleton State on Thursday. Salese Blow led the Aggies with 18 points, while Lauren Ware added 15 points and Fatmata Janneh grabbed 11 rebounds. The Aggies opened their season with an 81-43 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Kansas State (3-1) looks to rebound from a narrow 72-71 home loss to South Dakota, also on Thursday. In that game, Taryn Sides scored 19 points and collected eight rebounds for the Wildcats. Gina Garcia contributed 14 points and six assists, and Tess Heal added 10 points and seven rebounds. The Wildcats’ other results include a dominant 100-35 win over Omaha and a tight 46-44 road victory at SMU.
The matchup pits Texas A&M’s early-season offensive efficiency against a Kansas State squad tested by a close defeat. The game will be a final non-conference tune-up for both teams before each embarks on a series of upcoming tournament and holiday contests.
