Bowling Green at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Interstat) — The Bowling Green Falcons will face their first major test of the young season when they visit the South Carolina Gamecocks at Colonial Life Arena on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

Both teams enter the non-conference matchup with 1-0 records. Bowling Green is coming off an 82-67 road victory at Louisiana-Lafayette on Monday, led by Paige Kohler’s 18 points and six rebounds. Lauren Gerken added a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

South Carolina, however, presents a significant step up in competition. The Gamecocks opened their season with a dominant 94-54 home win over Grand Canyon. Ta’Niya Latson scored 20 points, while Tessa Johnson added 19 in the rout.

The game pits Bowling Green’s balanced interior presence against South Carolina’s high-powered offense. The Falcons will look to control the tempo, while the Gamecocks will aim to use their athleticism and depth to force a faster pace.

This contest begins a challenging road stretch for Bowling Green, which visits Wisconsin and Marquette next week. South Carolina will prepare for a rivalry game against Clemson on Tuesday following this matchup.
