Southern Indiana at Arkansas-Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Interstat) — The Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles visit the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup Saturday at Jack Stephens Center.
Southern Indiana (19-9) looks to rebound from a 62-73 road loss at Morehead State on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagles had won three straight prior to that defeat. They are led by guard Ali Saunders, who is averaging 18.6 points and 5.1 assists over her last eight games. Saunders scored 21 points with five assists in the loss to Morehead State and had a 26-point, eight-assist performance in a win at Eastern Illinois on Feb. 21.
Arkansas-Little Rock (15-14) is coming off a 73-68 home victory over Morehead State on Thursday. The Trojans have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses in their last five contests. They are powered by guard Jordan Holman, who is averaging 21.1 points over her last nine games. Holman erupted for a season-high 29 points in Thursday’s win and recorded a 22-point, 14-rebound double-double in a Feb. 7 victory over SIU Edwardsville.
This is the second meeting between the programs this season. Southern Indiana won the first matchup 57-40 at home on Dec. 18, 2025. In that game, the Screaming Eagles’ defense held the Trojans to 27.6% shooting from the field.
The game will feature a contrast in offensive styles. Southern Indiana relies on the dynamic playmaking of Saunders to generate scoring, while Arkansas-Little Rock leans heavily on the high-volume scoring of Holman. The Trojans will seek to defend their home court and level the season series, while the Screaming Eagles aim to solidify their winning record and build momentum heading into the postseason.
Tip-off is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.
