Seminoles Dominate Hurricanes in ACC Women’s Basketball Matchup

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — Florida State defeated Miami 87-70 in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game Sunday at Donald L. Tucker Center.

The Seminoles improved to 8-16 overall, while the Hurricanes fell to 12-12. Florida State shot 51.6% from the floor and outscored Miami by 17 points despite committing 16 turnovers. Tatum Greene led Florida State with 22 points and seven rebounds. Ra Shaya Kyle posted a double-double for Miami with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

The Seminoles led by 12 at halftime and maintained control, avenging a loss to the Hurricanes last month. Florida State’s efficient shooting and a 10-for-31 performance from 3-point range proved decisive.
