YPSILANTI, Mich. (Interstat) — Eastern Michigan used a dominant fourth quarter to erase a deficit and defeat Toledo 76-71 in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game Tuesday night at the Convocation Center.

The Eagles outscored the Rockets 26-15 in the final period. Peyton Hill led all scorers with 25 points for Eastern Michigan. Patricia Anumgba scored 22 points for Toledo, which led for much of the game.

Eastern Michigan shot 53 percent from the field and made 16 of 19 free throws. Toledo made nine 3-pointers but committed 15 turnovers. Attendance was 1,105. Eastern Michigan improved to 8-9. Toledo fell to 8-8.
