Eastern Michigan at Detroit

DETROIT (Interstat) — The Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Detroit Titans, two Michigan programs seeking momentum, will meet in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Sunday at Calihan Hall.

Eastern Michigan (3-3) enters the contest riding high after a 64-54 victory over Robert Morris on Wednesday. The Eagles were powered by a dominant performance from Sisi Eleko, who posted 23 points and 14 rebounds. Peyton Hill added 17 points in the win, which snapped a two-game skid for the Eagles.

Conversely, Detroit (1-4) looks to rebound from a lopsided 102-53 loss to in-state foe Michigan on the same night. Nisea Burrell led the Titans with 13 points in that defeat. Detroit’s lone win this season was a 78-48 victory over Valparaiso on Nov. 8, but they have since dropped four straight, all by double digits.

The matchup pits Eastern Michigan’s balanced scoring attack against a Detroit defense that has struggled recently, allowing an average of 87.5 points in its last two games. The Eagles will aim to exploit that defense inside behind Eleko, who is coming off a double-double.

Sunday’s game offers both teams a final tune-up before the heart of their respective schedules. Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
