FORT WORTH, Texas (Interstat) — The unbeaten TCU Lady Frogs will look to extend their strong start to the season when they host the struggling Tarleton State Texans in a nonconference women’s basketball game Thursday at Dickies Arena.

TCU (4-0) is coming off its most impressive win, a 69-59 road victory over North Carolina State on Sunday. Marta Suárez led the way with 26 points, while Olivia Miles recorded a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double. The Lady Frogs have won their games by an average margin of 42.5 points.

Tarleton State (2-3) has dropped three of its last four, including a 49-47 home loss to McNeese State on Sunday. Center Elodie Lutbert scored 14 points in the defeat. The Texans’ two wins this season came against Schreiner and in double-overtime against Houston Christian.

The game is part of a busy stretch for both teams. TCU hosts Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Sunday before traveling to a tournament in Cancún. Tarleton State travels to face Texas State next Tuesday.
