INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — Olivia Smith scored 23 points, including nine in the final quarter, to rally the IU Indy women to a 75-70 victory over Northern Kentucky in a Horizon League game Wednesday night at Fairgrounds Coliseum.

The Jaguars, who trailed by 10 after the first quarter, outscored the Norse 29-23 in the fourth to secure the win. Smith, a guard from Fort Wayne, Indiana, went 8 for 8 from the free-throw line in the final period.

Maddie Moody led Northern Kentucky with 19 points. The Norse shot just 10% from 3-point range. IU Indy improved to 8-11, while Northern Kentucky fell to 10-12. An announced crowd of 437 attended.
