MILWAUKEE (Interstat) — The Milwaukee Panthers defeated the Wright State Raiders 75-70 in a Horizon League women’s basketball game Saturday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Milwaukee built a 35-34 halftime lead and held off a Wright State rally in the second half. The Panthers shot 49.1% from the field and 52.2% from 3-point range, while the Raiders shot 41.4% overall. Jorey Buwalda led Milwaukee with 17 points and eight rebounds. Claire Henson paced Wright State with 13 points and six rebounds.

Milwaukee improved to 8-16 overall. Wright State fell to 6-17. An announced crowd of 771 attended the game.
