New Orleans at South Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (Interstat) — The South Florida Bulls look to continue their winning momentum when they host the struggling New Orleans Privateers in a non-conference women’s basketball game Sunday at the Sun Dome.

The Bulls (4-3) are coming off a narrow 56-54 victory over Harvard on Wednesday. Raina Tomasicka led the way with 14 points in the win. South Florida has shown resilience at home, with key victories over Duke and Long Island earlier in the season.

New Orleans (0-6) is still searching for its first win. The Privateers fell 79-66 to Houston Christian in their last outing, where Jayla Kimbrough scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Lauren Banks added 10 rebounds and Shanihya Brown dished out seven assists in the loss. The Privateers’ season has been marked by challenging road contests, including decisive losses at Oklahoma State and New Mexico.

Sunday’s matchup presents a stark contrast in trajectories. South Florida aims to build a winning record before a tough upcoming stretch that includes a home game against Connecticut. For New Orleans, the game is another opportunity to break into the win column before returning home to face LSU next week.

Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
